About the role

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead the development and delivery of software solutions focused on Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

In this role, you will be responsible for translating the product vision and roadmap into actionable development work, managing the backlog, prioritizing user stories, and ensuring alignment between product, engineering, and stakeholders.

You will work closely with engineering teams, product leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.

• Translate the product roadmap into features, epics, and user stories for development teams.

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring proper prioritization and alignment with product strategy.

• Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.

• Ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards.

• Coordinate with engineering teams to remove blockers and manage dependencies.

• Work closely with the Product Director to ensure alignment between product initiatives and program objectives.

• Oversee the software delivery and release planning process.

• Ensure proper test automation coverage and quality standards.

• Support country-level implementations and deployment activities when required.

Requirements

• Experience working as Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Product Manager in software development environments.

• Experience managing product backlogs and agile delivery processes.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe / similar).

• Experience working closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.

• Strong prioritization and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with SME-focused products or platforms.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or international environments.

• Familiarity with software delivery lifecycle and DevOps practices.

• Experience with test automation strategies.
