NodeJs Semi Senior+ (Globant, Brazil) - 100% remote.

Globant Brazil is seeking a talented NodeJs Developer at a Semi Senior+ level to be an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies like NestJS, React, and Postgres, using modern tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. You will be building scalable and efficient microservices while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain slick, robust, and scalable applications using NodeJs and NestJS frameworks.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with front-end developers working with React to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Manage and optimize database applications using PostgreSQL for improved data management and retrieval.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization to ensure seamless application configuration and deployment.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture to enhance application efficiency and maintainability.
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and adopting best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NodeJs development and backend services.
• Proven expertise in developing APIs using NestJS framework.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database management, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful Service design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• English B2 or better (interviews, meetings and work requieres fluency in english).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience in a fast-paced, Agile software development environment.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience in cloud service environments such as AWS or Azure.
• A strong advocate of DevOps principles and implementation.
