About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to design and build integration systems that connect complex platforms and services in real-world environments.

You’ll work on backend systems that handle data exchange, APIs, and integrations with external platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

This is a hands-on engineering role with strong ownership, focused on building systems that are critical to day-to-day operations.

What you’ll do

• Design and build integration systems and backend services

• Develop and maintain APIs (REST / GraphQL)

• Integrate with third-party systems and external platforms

• Handle asynchronous workflows, queues, and distributed systems

• Monitor, debug, and improve system reliability

• Participate in incident resolution and system improvements

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams

• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering

• Strong experience with:

  • Node.js / TypeScript

  • Python

• Experience building and maintaining APIs

• Solid understanding of:

  • async patterns

  • queues and messaging systems

  • error handling and observability

• Experience with databases:

  • PostgreSQL

  • MongoDB

• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

• Fluent English (C1+), required for daily communication)

Nice to have

• Experience designing GraphQL APIs

• Experience working on integration-heavy systems

• Experience in high-growth or startup environments

• Experience in regulated industries (healthtech, fintech, etc.)

Work model

• Remote (Brazil or Argentina)

• Hybrid option in São Paulo (Brazil)

• Full-time

This role requires hands-on experience building and maintaining backend systems in production environments. We are looking for engineers who take ownership of what they build and are comfortable working with real-world complexity.
